Video: The powerlifting world champion defying all odds

Wife of an Indian Air Force fighter pilot and mother of two, Bhavna Tokkekar is a 49-year-old powerlifter who has competed internationally in the above 40 category.


It includes setting world records in deadlifts and others like benchpress and weight squats.


As a homemaker from India, powerlifting was never in her books, but after training under the Indian Air Force body-building team she was ready to compete in a couple of months. She is inspiring people worldwide of all abilities and she says that is her biggest achievement to date.
